…well hello again! I hope everyone is doing well. We are doing quite alright just busy busy busy! Yes, I bet you are as well…”It’s the most wonderful time of the year” and I just ❤️ Christmas (even though I married a Grinch lol…he hates that I sing Christmas carols spontaneously lol) Christmas just gets me overjoyed (and slightly emotional). So, after Thanksgiving, I get a little Christmas obsessed (but who doesn’t? 😊) And with the spirit of Christmas… I have a Christmas themed activity. 🎄🎁🎅🏾
Christmas Themed Playtime Activity
Supplies:
- Christmas Themed Cookie Cutters (optional, if you have awesome drawing skills or you can use a computer lol)
- Paper
- Red/Green crayon
- Red/Green/White cardstock (Red/Green ones will be torn into to pieces)
- Glue
Directions:
- If you used the Cookie Cutters, trace one Cookie Cutter shape on to one sheet of white cardstock. Draw the number as well as write out the number in English/Spanish.
2. Follow up with number 2-5 (or as many Christmas themed shapes you can imagine)
Yes… This looks like the letter “J”, but they are candy canes! (Have some imagination… I am no Dalí, Picasso, or Jean-Michel Basquiat so bare with me 😂😂😂)
3. After all is drawn out, I gave her two decorating options. She could either color with red/green crayons or glue red/green paper. Of course, she chose the messier option lol.
4. Review the numbers and colors!!
5. ENJOY!
So, she loved “decorating” the Christmas shapes and made quite the mess lol. But it really brighten her holiday spirit! I have been hearing about Santa 🎅🏾 non-stop!!! I hope your little one enjoys this activity and make sure to tell me how it goes! When you do complete it, make sure to tag #JustMeOMaya on social media
….and Happy Holidays
Enjoy!
