Hello! I just wanted to share a very quick upcycling project that I completed for my garden! I 💜 to find ways to repurpose things that I receive (to my husbands disdain lol) and my perseverance paid off this time. 😊
Every so often my Navy guy likes to surprise me with a fruit basket from Edible Arrangements. He has been doing this since we were dating and has continued to this day! 😍😍. My last arrangement came in this cute tin that I could not throw away!
It is just too cute, but what to do with it?!?
MAKE IT INTO A PLANTER FOR MY GARDEN!
SUPPLIES
- Edible Arrangements Tin
- Knife
- Plant
- Soil
Directions:
1. Turn the tin upside down
2. Take a knife, I used a standard steak knife, and carefully stab holes into the bottom. If you would like the holes to be bigger, just stab and then turn in a circle.
I just love this! It really gives my garden style and personality! All of my plants and vegetables have to be above ground because we have underground power and cable lines, so this planter gives it a pop of color and zest!
I also reused two other Edible Arrangement containers.
I found this coupon code if you would like to order some Edible Arrangements for a Grad or Dad!
Save $4 bucks with the coupon code: INET6616. This coupon expires June 30th and can’t be combined with any other coupons/promotions or already discounted items.
And of course, I had the best helpers with my garden….
This year we planted basil, tomatoes, and eggplants! I get really excited to see if anything grows and my little ones love to water them, so they can get all wet! ☺️ Do you have a garden? Is it a vegetable garden? What do you plant? Do you compost? Any tips that you would care to share? I hope you enjoyed my upcycling project! Take care.
Enjoy!
Maya
