Growing up, my Mom used to decorate for EVERYTHING!!!! (and I just loved it!). So, one of my #MomGoals is to obsessively decorate as well lol. However, there are some holidays that I have not been able to find decorations for like today, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day…. so I made my own! And I am happy to share them with you with the hopes you will decorate for all holidays too:)
If you have been following along via Instagram, you will remember this post…
Well, here is a super simple tutorial to make the cloud! All you need is a styrofoam ball, double side tape, and pillow stuffing!
This is how I styled my “I Have a Dream” Cloud!
Scroll down to the bottom to download the free printables to complete the look! The great thing about these decorations is you can leave them out the whole month of February as well during Black History Month!
Tell me what you think about this decoration idea? Any holidays or special occasions that you celebrate that you cannot find too many decorations for? What did you do in those circumstances? Leave your questions and critiques in the comments!
Enjoy!

I love this. Not only is this perfect for the home but it is superb for the classroom. Your right there are some really important holiday that do not get the recognition they should with decorations.
I think that quote is more relevant now than ever before. Hopefully people start to remember that and start to make changes.
This is very new to me, as we don’t celebrate this day here in Europe. It was interesting to read about how your mom used to decorate the entire house and how you are stepping on her footsteps 🙂 Great printable!

You’ve totally inspired me to do something surrounding MLK day with my boys tomorrow since it’s a no school day. We already have a packed day planned, but even a moment of remembrance is good. Thanks for inspiration.
I liked the quote, it just made me realized how important to speak my mind and fight for happiness without sacrificing my right to express myself.
